PopUps in the Fall…………..

Following the acquisition of the Vancouver-based Kit and Ace Technical Apparel Inc. company earlier in July, Unity Brands Inc., a company owned by Joe Mimran, David Lui and Frank Rocchetti, took possession of a new location in the CF Toronto Eaton Centre in downtown Toronto and a location in CF Market Mall in Calgary.   The locations, along with another expected in Vancouver, are scheduled to open as temporary popup locations in the Fall.  Introduced in 2014, Kit and Ace features technical cashmere and luxury athleisure clothing that is big on comfort and style and made to last.  Presently there are four permanent Kit and Ace stores in Gastown in Vancouver, Mount Royal Village in Calgary, on Queen St. West in Toronto and on Lakeshore Rd. East in Oakville.  CEO David Lui, who oversees the organization’s growth, operations, marketing, eCommerce, finance, and logistics, also announced that Tiffany Spiteri has been promoted to Director of Stores for Kit and Ace.  Luc Lavigne at Oberfeld Snowcap has been retained to handle the site selection in Canada for the specialty apparel and accessories chain.  Kit and Ace targets 2000 to 2500 square foot locations in malls and power centres.
