Later in the week, from August 10th to August 13th, the Knorr food and beverage brand will open a quick service takeout pop-up restaurant in the detached Victorian home at 179 Crawford St, at the corner of the Trinity Bellwood Park in downtown Toronto. Named Yummy K’s, the pop-up will feature the Knorr Taste Combo takeout-inspired menu, a new offering of tasty, quick and affordable recipes that bring together a combination of veggies, lean protein and flavourful Knorr offerings that can be prepared at home in minutes. Yummy K’s menu feature creations from Toronto restauranteur, chef Matty Matheson, known for bringing big, bold flavours to each dish. Each priced at $5, the menu features four Taste Combos: the Best Ever Juicy Burger, the Fully Loaded Chicken Tacos and the Matty’s Specials, a BBQ-Glazed Chopped Chicken Sandwich and the Chilled Chili Soba and its is all made in the kitchen at 179 Crawford St. “By bringing a takeaway joint into a home, we’re showing Canadians they can cook up meals that aren’t fast food but are sooooo good and sharing delicious inspiration they can try in their own home,” explained Shagufta Hooda, Marketing Lead at Knorr Canada.
