Superior Tire & Auto has transitioned its location at 395A Danforth Rd in Scarborough to an owner-operated franchise model, marking the brand’s first new franchisee in more than 15 years. The move represents a significant strategic development as the company strengthens its local operations and expands its franchise network. New franchise owner Murat Mulayim brings 30 years of experience in the tire, automotive, and retail industries across four continents. His international expertise will support a localized approach to service management, technical staffing, and operational performance, while maintaining the company’s high service standards. The Danforth Rd facility continues to provide comprehensive automotive maintenance, mechanical repairs, and name-brand tires focused on vehicle safety and performance. Founded in 1942, Superior Tire & Auto operates under Auto Service Group, a major automotive repair network serving Southwestern Ontario. The network has 28 locations across five brands, including The Mufflerman, EuroMechanic, Fleet Specialties, Sil’s, 4 Aces, and Superior Tire & Auto.
