In early September, Halifax-based Harvest Clean Eats opened its second location in Ontario, at the Scotia Plaza in Toronto’s Financial District. And, by late November, a unit opens in the former Freshii location at The Madeleine upscale mixed-use project in downtown Kingston. Construction is also expected to start shortly on locations at the mixed-use 99 Metcalfe St at Laurier Ave in downtown Ottawa, at the new Latitude 45 on Main St in Wolfville in Nova Scotia and at a former Starbucks location at 146 Lakeshore Rd West in Oakville. These are expected to open in early 2027. Connor Stoilov launched the Harvest Clean Eats on Market St at Sackville St. in downtown Halifax in 2000. The farm-to-table concept features a selection of power bowls, salads, sandwiches, smoothies, along with specialty coffees. The chef- driven menu is made from scratch daily, in-house, using premium quality fresh ingredients. Franchising since late 2022, Harvest Clean Eats presently has ten locations operating in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and Ontario and is actively pursuing expansion opportunities. Andrew Goodman and FranTel Canada has been retained to provide a range of services and will be working with Stoilov and Franchise Sales & Real Estate Manager Thomas McVicar to secure franchise partners in both Ontario and Atlantic Canada. Harvest Clean Eats requires highly visible 1200 to 1800 square foot units for the traditional units and 350 to 600 square feet for food court locations.
