A 1000 square foot street front ChungChun, featuring the popular Korean-style rice hot dog street food, is expected to open on Carnarvon St at the Shops at New West in New Westminster in British Columbia in early second quarter. It is the chain’s fifth in B.C. ChungChun Rice Dog is a Seoul, South Korea-based chain with locations in Korea, Australia, China, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines featuring a menu that includes rice flour batter wrapped hot dogs, spicy sausages, all mozzarella rice dog and an option hot dog and mozzarella cheese combo. The batter-dipped sticks are coated with optional toppings, from diced potato to breadcrumbs, and freshly fried in front of the customer.
With this addition, Matt Gratton, Senior Director of Leasing at First Capital REIT is now marketing for lease a remaining 6,101 square foot service/retail unit on the second level of the 207,000 square foot Shops at New West.
