Kal Tire is a family-owned chain that, with its acquisition of the Frisby Tire chain in Ottawa earlier in the Summer, now operates over 260 locations across Canada and about 18 international locations specializing in automotive tire and wheel sales, brake, shock, alignment and minor mechanical services. Part of its plan for national growth, Kal Tire has retained Adam Occhipinti and Matthew Pieszchala at CBRE Ltd. to handle its real estate search in Ontario. At this time, the chain is seeking units in the 7250 to 15,000 square foot range with a minimum clear height of 16 feet and land sizes from 0.5 to 1.5-acres. Sale or lease options are sought in Burlington, Mississauga, Oakville and Durham region.
