Third in the Fall………..

Paraiso Tropical is an Edmonton-based, family-owned Latin food market that has served Western Canada since the early 1990s, founded by Jesus and Alba Gonzalez to meet growing demand for authentic Latin American products. Over more than three decades, the company has expanded from a small community-focused grocery into a two-location retail and wholesale operation offering imported groceries, fresh bakery, prepared foods, kitchen staples, and cultural specialties from across Central and South America. In Fall 2026, Paraiso Tropical Latin Market opens its third location in Edmonton, a 6000 square foot location in the new Man Square at 120th St and 107th Ave. in the Queen Mary Park neighbourhood. Like previous stores, the full-service grocery market includes a hot-food kitchen with sit-down and grab-and-go offerings. Paraiso Tropical also provides distribution services, catering to households, restaurants, and events. Brandon Rosser at Cushman & Wakefield Edmonton is handling the site selection on behalf of the chain and reports that once the new location is established, the company will eventually relocate its south Edmonton store to larger premises. New stores are in a 5000 to 6000 square foot range.
