Earlier this week, Calgary-based cannabis retailer High Tide Inc. opened a Canna Cabana retail cannabis store at 345 Argyle St. South in Caledonia community in Southern Ontario. The location is positioned at the south end of town, distinctly separated from the limited existing competition located on the north end. Located in a busy commercial node, co-tenants include a pharmacy, liquor store, and multiple national retailers. The opening brings High Tide’s total store count to 221 Canna Cabana locations across Canada and 97 in the province of Ontario. The chain’s third opening this year, High Tide anticipates adding 20 to 30 locations in calendar 2026 on its way to a goal of 350 locations across the country. The stores generally operate in the 1200 square foot range in various formats and Chris Wanzel and Michael Calderone at Urban Reform Realty are responsible for the site selection in Canada.
