Good Morning Toronto……….

Later this week, the popular Montreal-based Homers Boite a Beignes doughnut chain will open its first location in Toronto. The inline 1600 square foot location, trading under the Homie’s Doughnuts brand, is at the Morningside Crossing in Scarborough. And later in the Fall, the chain is opening additional locations in Ontario, in London, Ottawa and Brampton. In addition, with about 14 locations currently operating throughout Quebec, Homer’s is also scheduled to open locations in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and in Joliette in May, in St Jerome in August and in Sherbrooke in early 2027. Homers is a specialty food concept that features fresh gourmet donuts made daily, inspired by The Simpsons popular animated TV series, in over 30 unique flavours. The concept was introduced in early 2024 in Montreal’s NDG community by veteran restaurateur Terry Axiotis. Manon Larose and Jeremie Roy at Oberfeld Snowcap are handling the site selection for the fast-growing chain and a search is presently underway in Lévis, Sainte-Hyacinthe, Granby, Drummondville, Boucherville, Trois-Rivières, Repentigny, Vaudreuil/Dorion and Rouyn-Noranda. Street and plaza locations with convenient access in the 1500 to 2000 square foot range are required.
