Hakka Nation is a growing quick casual restaurant brand specializing in Indo-Chinese cuisine, blending traditional Hakka cooking techniques with bold Indian flavours. The concept offers an extensive menu featuring popular dishes such as chili chicken, Hakka noodles, fried rice, momos and Manchurian specialties. With an emphasis on fresh ingredients, generous portions and modern dining environments, Hakka Nation has expanded across the Golden Horseshoe region, appealing to diners seeking flavourful, affordable fusion cuisine. In September, the chain is scheduled to open a 1200 square foot location in Park Place in Barrie and in November, a 1014 square foot unit is scheduled to open in the 404 Town Centre in Newmarket. Gerry Lazar at Top Cats Realty is handling the site selection for the concept and adds that negotiations are presently underway for a 1200 square foot unit in Milton. A franchise concept, Hakka Nation continues to source locations in Greater Toronto and the surrounding markets. Units in the 1500 to 1800 square foot range with strong visibility and convenient access are required. The chain is especially interested in taking existing restaurants.
