Horin Ramen restaurants is bringing a taste of the Japanese ramen tradition to Richmond and New Westminster. The chain reports that a 1552 square foot street front location at 140-5911 No 3 Rd. in Richmond, near the Brighouse SkyTrain and the Lansdowne SkyTrain Station, is opening later in 2026 and a 1057 square foot street level location at the mixed-use Ovation development at 815 Carnarvon St in downtown New Westminster is in the works. Originating from Fukuoka, Japan, Horin is known for its tonkotsu broth, fresh handmade noodles, and signature chili sauce. The restaurant’s history dates back about 60 years, emphasizing authentic flavors and careful preparation. In early 2018, the chain opened its first international location on Robson St in Vancouver, and these scheduled locations will bring the chain to six locations in the Lower Mainland and Victoria. Horin also has three locations in Japan and one in Seoul in Korea.
