After closing its location on Arbutus St at Valley Dr in Vancouver’s West Side due to redevelopment in early 2025, Mello, the popular Korean brioche-style donut shop has opened its promised larger location with two levels at Landmark on Robson in the city’s downtown area. The new unit includes more dine-in options, new savoury donut sandwiches and fruit-inspired creations. Introduced on East Pender St in Vancouver’s Chinatown neighbourhood by Janice Lee in late 2019, Mello is an artisan donut shop that has become known for its hand-crafted brioche-style donuts, made fresh from scratch throughout the day using high-quality, natural ingredients. The company has built a following with its generously filled flavours including matcha, lemon curd, Nutella, salted caramel and strawberries and cream. Mello also operates a location in the Time Out Market at Oakridge Park on West 41st Ave.
