Combining a Parisian flair and a north America street food culture, La French Cantine is a quick service concept that specializes in sandwiches served on French baguettes, smash burgers, curry chicken and General Tao bowls, poutines and wraps. The menu features halal food.
In addition to its standalone locations, the concept also operates as combo locations. With its latest opening, in an open plaza on Boul Anjou in the Montreal off-island suburb of Chateauguay in February, the franchise chain operates seven locations in the Greater Montreal area, Quebec City and Ottawa. In addition, a combo Chicken Street/La French Cantine/Lokma location is preparing to open shortly at the SmartCentres Montreal-North on Boul Henri Bourassa East in Montreal North and a search is underway for more locations. For its standalone locations, La French will operate in high traffic 1300 to 1500 square foot locations in open centres and street front unit. Food court locations are also considered.
