Having just opened a location in downtown Toronto in early September, family-owned and operated health food market Nature’s Emporium reports that later this week, it is opening its new Oakville location, its second in Ontario’s Halton region. The opening, the chain’s sixth location, marks another step in the company’s ongoing implementation of its ambitious, multi-year growth and rejuvenation strategy across Southern Ontario. Located within Oakville’s Dorval Crossing shopping centre on North Service Rd. West., the 24,000 square foot store will offer a wide selection of all-natural supplements and high quality, organic foods, and products. A highlight of the new location is the Nature’s Emporium Wellness Bar, a go-to destination for hand-crafted signature drinks, both hot and cold, nutrient-packed smoothies, refreshing smoothie bowls, etc. In addition, Nature’s Emporium’s chefs craft a diverse selection of meals using only the finest ingredients, including organic chicken, grass-fed and grass-finished beef, organic plant-based alternatives, and organic produce. Each dish is prepared fresh daily. Through its expansion plan, the 30-year-old chain is positioning itself as the go-to, one-stop destination for high-quality, organic produce, healthy to-go meals, natural health and beauty products, eco-friendly household essentials, local brands, etc. “We are so much more than a store,” said CEO Joe D’Addario. “We have worked hard over the years to establish ourselves as a destination for holistic wellness.” Matthew Pieszchala at CBRE Ltd. handles the site selection for the chain. The chain is planning expansion in Ontario targeting opportunities in the 16,000 to 22,500 square foot range. The chain targets former large format locations as well as grocery-anchored and new plaza developments.
