RONA inc., one of Canada’s largest home improvement retailers with more than 425 corporate and affiliated stores, has celebrated the grand opening of eight newly converted RONA+ locations as part of its ongoing banner transformation strategy. The conversions mark another milestone in the company’s efforts to enhance the customer experience, expand product selection, and modernize stores to better serve homeowners, contractors, and renovation professionals. According to Sylvain Proulx, Senior Vice-President of Store Operations, customer response to the RONA+ brand has been strong since its launch more than two years ago, highlighted by a significant improvement in the company’s reputation rankings in the latest Léger Reputation Study. The newly converted RONA+ locations are located at Toronto Stockyards in Toronto, at 61 Mapleview Dr in Barrie South, Princess St in Kingston, Merivale in Nepean, Sunridge in northeast Calgary, Preston Crossing in Saskatoon, Quance St East in Regina East and on Daniel Johnson St East in Saint Hyacinthe. The newly upgraded stores feature a range of enhancements, including expanded PRO departments with permanent RONAPRO signage, new dedicated shop-in-shop concepts from brands such as MOEN and Scotts, upgraded kitchen departments with additional product demonstrations, and redesigned seasonal merchandise areas. The stores have also undergone broader modernization efforts aimed at improving the overall shopping experience.
