Wing Zone, the 30-year-old chain of quick casual cooked-to-order chicken wings and tenders chain of restaurants that was acquired by Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop Inc in early 2021, is also exploring expansion opportunities in Canada. The chain has retained Joel Friedman at JSF Franchise Group Inc. and Ted Tsanas at Southbrook Business Development Group to handle the franchise search and site selection, respectively, for the restaurants in Canada. With about 35 locations in about 17 states, and a recently signed international agreement that will see the chain enter the Republic of India, the Wing Zone brand is planning to reach the 200-restaurant mark by 2025. Featuring a selection of chicken wings and tenders in various flavours as well as burgers, sandwiches, wraps, quesadillas, salads and sides. The Wing Zone restaurants operate in locations in the 1200 square foot range. A search is underway for qualified individuals with strong ‘food & beverage’ experience to become multi-unit franchise partners.
