Le Creuset, the French cookware and bakeware brand reports that it will open a 1500 square foot boutique at The Village at Park Royal in West Vancouver in August, marking the chain’s third location in the province. The latest step in its expansion strategy targeting premium shopping destinations across the country, with this opening Le Creuset will operate 13 stand-alone stores in high-profile locations across Canada and the company looks to expand selectively in 2027. Tony Flanz at Think Retail handles the chain’s site selection in Canada noting that super-regional malls in Montreal and Ontario are of interest, with preferred store sizes ranging from 1,000 to 1,500 square feet. He also added that the company is also exploring a limited number of pop-up opportunities in select locations. Featuring the colourful collection of enamel cookware and accessories, along with tableware, kitchen tools, wine accessories, etc., the Le Creuset brand is carried in upscale department stores and specialty stores along with its standalone boutiques. Founded in Northern France in 1925, Le Creuset has become one of the world’s leading cookware brands, known for its exceptional craftsmanship and timeless design. The collection now extends far beyond cookware to include bakeware, dinnerware, utensils, textiles and a wide range of kitchen and home accessories.
