Opens Sauve St Renovation………….

Adonis Mediterranean Market on Sauvé St. in Montreal has completed major renovations following an investment of more than $2.6 million(Cdn). The 23,000 square foot store is designed to provide customers with a modern, welcoming, and convenient shopping experience while maintaining the store’s reputation for diverse, high-quality products. Departments have been reorganized to improve navigation, while updated décor and lighting create a more inviting atmosphere. The renovations also expanded the coffee, spice, and bakery sections, giving shoppers a broader selection. Pre-packaged food offerings increased by more than 50 percent in fresh food sections and up to 70 percent in frozen food sections. A new pizza counter was also added to offer customers a convenient take-home meal option. “This project was more than just a renovation,” explained Adonis Quebec Regional Director Dave Parent. “It was an opportunity for us to transform the store in a way that provides customers with a more enjoyable, seamless experience that better reflects their shopping habits, while preserving what makes Adonis strong—namely, the diversity and quality of our food selection.” Founded in 1979, Adonis is part of the METRO Group and operates specialty grocery stores in Quebec and Ontario. Presently there are eleven Adonis stores in Quebec and five in Ontario.
