In late September, Regina, Saskatchewan-based Modern Mattress celebrates the grand opening of its latest retail store opening. The eight-year-old chain’s fifth location opened last week in the SmartCentres Regina North centre at Rochdale Blvd. and Pasqua St. in Regina. At about 3000 square feet, the store features a diverse collection of recognized mattress brands such as Serta, Simmons, Sealy, Sterns and Foster, and notably, the home-grown brand Lotus. Lotus, recognized as a local success story, stands out for its quality mattresses and sleep accessories. “We eagerly anticipate further expansion in Saskatchewan,” said Co-owner Drew Hunt. “With plans to unveil five more stores, our overarching aim remains steadfast: to enhance the sleep quality of Saskatchewan’s residents. We are delighted to keep growing, joining hands with revered brands and local gems like Lotus.” Present Modern Mattress stores are all in Saskatchewan in Regina, Moose Jaw and Yorkton.
