Nespresso Canada has unveiled its redesigned Sherway Gardens boutique in Toronto, introducing its latest retail concept at one of the company’s long-standing GTA locations. The 3372 square foot location is at entrance one on The West Mall side. Originally opened in 2015 as Nespresso Canada’s second regional boutique, the renovated store reflects the company’s continued investment in premium, personalized coffee experiences across Canada. The new boutique features a ‘Coffee as an Art’ area where club members can explore coffee’s journey from bean to cup through guided tastings and discussions with coffee specialists. A dedicated lounge provides space to relax and enjoy coffee, while new self-selection stations allow customers to browse and choose coffees at their own pace with expert assistance available. The Sherway Gardens renovation follows recent Nespresso investments including the opening of its Willowbrook boutique in Langley and the reopening of locations at Oakridge in Vancouver and Ste-Foy in Québec City. The boutique also supports Nespresso’s sustainability efforts by accepting used capsules for recycling, with aluminum repurposed and coffee grounds composted on Canadian farms.
In Canada, Nespresso has over 35 boutiques coast-to-coast and continues to test new markets utilizing its pop-up program. Ben Labrecque and Pascale Fournier at Urban Reform Realty are handling the site selection in Canada for the chain. Traditionally, Nespresso locates in enclosed malls and in high street locations. The size necessary is in the 2000 to 3000 square foot range.
