Bed Bath & Beyond returns to Canada as a Canadian-owned and operated retailer, launching first as an e-commerce destination this week. The online store offers about 6,000 products from more than 80 brands across bed, bath, kitchen, dining, décor, organization, baby and seasonal categories. The assortment has been tailored to Canadian consumers, combining established global names, Canadian favourites and select returning international brands across a range of styles and price points. Bedding and bath will receive particular emphasis. The digital launch represents the first stage of the retailer’s Canadian comeback, with brick-and-mortar stores planned to open in late 2027. Led by President Carol Deacon, the company says its new approach will focus on inspiration, discovery and choice, helping Canadians create personalized homes rather than promoting a single design aesthetic. In mid-2025, Sleep Country Canada confirmed that it has acquired the Canadian and U.K. rights to the Bed Bath & Beyond name and logo and announced plans to relaunch the concept with bricks and mortar stores and online platform.
