Following the opening of its three latest locations in Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Texas earlier in September, Jeff Young, Chief Development Officer of the Barrio Burrito Bar quick casual Tex-Mex restaurant chain of restaurants, reports that it has awarded the Master Franchise rights for the state of Nevada. The agreement with Yamini Patel calls for the opening of 32 franchised Barrio Burrito Bar restaurants over the next two decades. With the signing of this most recent Master Franchise Agreement, the brand has surpassed 1,624 contractually committed franchise units throughout the United States, further accelerating its aggressive growth plans in the U.S. market. With Master Franchise agreements now signed in over 20 states, Young continues to source 1200 to 1800 square foot highly visible locations, ideally in grocery-anchored shopping centers. Pad units and end caps are preferred, and prominent signage, convenient access, and strong daytime traffic are necessary.
