Modern Ambition, the premium menswear brand owned by Mondetta Canada Inc., has announced an expansion strategy that includes new retail locations in Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver, as well as a major investment in a luxury mobile showroom concept. The growth initiative follows the successful first year of the brand’s Winnipeg flagship store. Later in the Summer, a 1400 square foot Modern Ambition opens at 101 Yorkville Ave in Toronto followed by locations in The Core in downtown Calgary and at 918 Robson St in downtown Vancouver. A key component of the expansion is a custom-built mobile showroom, developed at a cost of more than $500,000, which will travel across Canada in 2026. The mobile concept will showcase the brand’s technically tailored menswear, premium Italian fabrics, personalized styling services, and hospitality-focused shopping experience while helping build awareness in markets ahead of permanent store openings. Modern Ambition has positioned itself as an ‘attainable luxury’ brand, offering high-quality tailoring and craftsmanship at more accessible price points than traditional luxury labels. CEO Ash Modha said the expansion reflects growing consumer demand for quality, value, and authenticity. The company’s retail locations, known as ‘Living Rooms,’ emphasize comfort, community, and personalized service. Looking ahead, Modern Ambition is also evaluating additional North American markets, with long-term plans to expand into the United States and selected European countries by 2028. Modern Ambition stores will operate in high street locations and enclosed malls in major markets across Canada.
