Since opening its first location in Quebec in 2001, Allô Mon Coco has become one of the province’s most recognized breakfast and brunch destinations. Built around an elevated breakfast experience, the brand offers generous portions, fresh ingredients and a welcoming atmosphere. With its strong presence across Quebec and part of the MTY Food Group since mid-2019, Allô Mon Coco is now expanding its footprint across Canada and seeking new opportunities with developers and landlords. Currently there are about 50 restaurants, including one in Ottawa, and the chain is looking to introduce its proven elevated breakfast and brunch offering to other markets in Canada. MTY Food’s Nancy Chamberlain is handling the site selection for Central and Western Canada and Sylvain Boissy is responsible for the search in Eastern Canada. Allô Mon Coco is ideally suited for developments seeking a restaurant anchor that can drive consistent customer visits, enhance the overall tenant mix and create a destination within the community. The chain will operate in 3200 to 5000 square foot street-front locations, mixed-use developments, lifestyle centres, power centres, neighbourhood destination centres that provide strong visibility, convenient access and a mix of residential, daytime and weekend traffic. Earlier this year, MTY Group’s international division opened an Allo Mon Coco location Mérida in Mexico’s Yucatán peninsula, at Plaza DAM Distrito de Arte Mérida.
